Taking to her Instagram post, Nidhhi Agerwal shared a picture of herself from the event, and posted a text "Blaming the victim is called manipulation." For the unversed, Niddhi Agerwal attended the event, which was intended to promote a new song from the film, which saw hundreds of fans gather inside the venue. Social media footage from the day showed Nidhhi Agerwal struggling to navigate through a tightly packed crowd, with several attempting to get close to her.
In a recent video Sivaji claimed that in all these years, he has never ‘crossed his limits’ while speaking about women. “I still don’t know how these words came out of my mouth. As soon as I finished my speech, I realised I had made a mistake. I sincerely apologise for using those two unparliamentary words,” he said. He also said "I regret it from the bottom of my soul; it will haunt me for the rest of my life. I’m only human, But I stand by the statement I had given; there’s no backing down, and nobody to fear. Sivaji spoke about how Nidhhi Agerwal was dressed when she was mobbed at The Raja Saab event.“"In that Lulu Mall incident... poor Nidhhi Agerwal, if any one of her clothing slips... that girl's videos will be there for her entire lifetime, right? That one situation provoked me a lot. She looked so embarrassed after getting into her car,” he said.
The Dhandoraa actor later said in the press meet that he, watched Samantha's video of getting mobbed and that she had the ‘advantage of wearing a saree’, which is why she didn't ‘look uncomfortable’. "All I said was to wear modest clothes or a saree while going out for their safety. Who am I to tell anybody what to do? I did not mention anybody by name, and yet I have been criticised by people.” he said.
