2, produced by JP Films and T-Series, is one of the most anticipated releases of 2026. Starring Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahaan Shetty, the war drama has been scheduled for a theatrical release on January 23 next year. Ahead of that, the makers dropped the first look of Diljit. The actor will be seen playing the role of NJS Sekhon in the war drama. Diljit's Border 2 character poster was also released online.

Taking to Instagram, Diljit shared a video unveiling his first look from Border 2. "Iss Desh ke Aasmaan Mein Guru ke Baaz Pehra dete hain 🇮🇳 #Border2 in cinemas 23rd January, 2026," the caption to his post read.

Apart from that, T-Series shared the character poster of Diljit on social media. A few months ago, the FWICE objected to Diljit's casting in Border 2 after he collaborated with Pakistani actress Hania Aamir in Sardaar Ji 3.
