star and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan recently underwent a successful medical procedure. While his older brother, superstar Chiranjeevi, shared a health update on X, the actor-turned-politician also came online to respond to those who had wished him during his medical scare. The They Call Him OG star posted from his official account as deputy CMO, thanking his relatives Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Sai Dharam Tej and other South stars, including Jr NTR. He revealed that he would recover soon and return to his official duties as soon as he could.
Pawan Kalyan sends personal messages to brother Chiranjeevi, other relatives
On X (formerly Twitter), after his surgery, Pawan Kalyan responded to several politicians, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Earlier in the day,
Chiranjeevi had posted an update on his condition and revealed that his medical procedure was successfully completed. The actor was now stable and recovering well. Chiranjeevi had also stated that Pawan Kalyan was expected to get back to normal within a week.
Addressing his elder brother, Pawan Kalyan thanked him and shared his heartfelt gratitude for his love, blessings and constant care. He added that with Chiranjeevi's blessings, he would recover soon and return to his post as Deputy CMO. To his nephew, Chiranjeevi's son Ram Charan, he replied that he was hoping to be back soon in full strength.
He also shared messages of gratitude with Allu Arjun, calling him by his nickname Bunny and thanking him for his concern. Pawan Kalyan also responded to nephew Sai Dharam Tej, who had shared well wishes for his 'Chinna Mama' and RRR star Jr NTR. He stated, "I am recovering well and deeply touched by your concern."
About Pawan Kalyan's recent health scare
On April 17, it was reported that the actor-turned-politician had a sudden health scare during a meeting with officials. He was shifted to Hyderabad for further evaluation after doctors assessed his initial tests and an MRI scan. The medical team decided that immediate surgical intervention was necessary based on his reports. A day later, Pawan Kalyan was scheduled for the medical procedure, which went off successfully. The medical team has suggested a recovery period of about seven to ten days before the Deputy CMO can be back in action.
