Traitors, hosted by Claudia Winkleman, is returning for a second season. The BBC unveiled the cast of the upcoming new season and several familiar faces from the UK are going to "play the ultimate game of deception and betrayal." 21 new celebrities, including The Good Omens' Michael Sheen, The Last of Us star Bella Ramsey, singer James Blunt and many more, are heading to a Scottish castle for The Traitors to compete for a cash prize of £100,000 for charity. The new season is expected to air on BBC One later this year.
Who is part of Celebrity Traitors Season 2?
On social media, the network announced the lineup in a quirky manner with drivers holding up namecards of the contestants as they waited for them at the airport. The full list of competitors features journalist Amol Rajan; actors Michael Sheen, Bella Ramsey, Julie Hesmondhalgh, Miranda Hart, Ross Kemp, Industry's Myha’la, Saltburn's Richard E Grant, Heartstopper's Sebastian Croft and Sharon Rooney; podcaster James Acaster; singer James Blunt and Little Mix's Leigh-Anne Pinnock; model Jerry Hall; comedians Joanne McNally, Joe Lycett, Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan; YouTuber King Kenny; Love Island presenter Maya Jama; and Professor Hannah Fry.
The comments section already has some famous fans like TV presenter Alison Hammond lauding the new round of contestants. Some of the celebrities were already spotted heading to the Scottish Highlands to film the upcoming series. The UK game show is an adaptation of the Dutch game show. The Celebrity Traitors Season 1 debuted in October 2025 with an average audience of 14.9 million viewers. The finale drew in 15.4 million viewers.
