Dhurandhar 2 Update: Ranveer Singh, Aditya Dhar Film Teaser To Release With Border 2 - Report

Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2 arrives on the festive weekend of Gudi Padwa/Ugadi and Eid 2026. After the mammoth success of the Aditya Dhar directorial, all eyes are on its second part. The director has

reportedly started working on the final teaser and trailer cuts. The story continues with new antagonists, challenges and drama. As the two-month countdown begins, a news report revealed that the Dhurandhar 2 teaser will be attached to the upcoming war drama, Border 2. The Indo-Pak battle film releases in theatres on January 23. The trailer of the espionage thriller is said to be ready by February end.

Dhurandhar 2 teaser

A source close to Dhurandhar 2 revealed that the teaser will include new visuals, confirming no delay in its scheduled March 19 release. “The idea is to replug the release date in the minds of cinema-going audiences. Dhurandhar 2 is confirmed for an Eid 2026 release, the teaser will re-establish the date with some newer visuals,” the source said.

“Both Dhurandhar 2 and Border 2 are nationalistic films, and the team at Jio Studios wants to capitalise on the wave of patriotic cinema. The new cut of teaser from the end-credits of part one will be out digitally too, after a premiere on the big screen. For the beginners, it is a big screen exclusive,” the source confirmed.

Ram Gopal Varma's shoutout

Amid anticipation for Dhurandhar 2, Ram Gopal Varma cheered for the makers and wrote on X, “Dhurandhar 2 will be the biggest multi starrer ever, in the history of cinema , because each and every character in the 1st film has become enormously huge in the audiences mind , in terms of both their value and impact , which is what true stardom is really about In the 1st part the characters could have been small or big but now all of them have become giant super stars and hence #Dhurandhar2 will be the BIGGEST MULTI STARRER ever.”Dhurandhar 2 will also star R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Rakesh Bedi, Arjun Rampal and Sara Arjun. The film clashes with Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups and Dacoit.
