Mohanlal’s
famous franchise Drishyam’s third installment, Drishyam 3, was released in theatres on May 21. As expected, the family drama performed exceedingly well at the box office on its first weekend. However, the Malayalam film’s actual test began on Monday (May 25). Due to the non-holiday, Mohanlal’s Drishyam 3 witnessed a major drop in its numbers on its first Monday. The film couldn’t even register double-digit numbers on day 5. Notably, the Jeethu Joseph-directed film crossed the Rs 60 crore mark at the box office on the fifth day, and it looks like the flick is expected to face difficulty in minting numbers in the upcoming days.
