Sunny Deol vs Dhurandhar This comes on the back of the massive success of Dhurandhar, which visibly impacted the box-office performance of Sunny Deol’s Border 2. The spiritual sequel to J P Dutta’s iconic war drama hit screens on January 23, ahead of Republic Day 2026. However, Aditya Dhar’s spy actioner continued to dominate ticket windows. Despite this, Border 2 held its ground held its groundbefore slowing down in the second week. It has reportedly earned Rs 318.55 crore so far. Had it not been for the Dhurandhar madness, the war drama may have had even greater potential.Meanwhile, Dhurandhar’s box-office collections reportedly crossed Rs 10,000 crore in India alone, making it one of the highest-grossing Indian films ever.
