The director confessed that he has known Arijit for a long time, and he feels the Kalank song singer is very talented and wishes to do more apart from singing.

Basu further revealed that he knew Arijit Singh’s passion for filmmaking. “He asked me to make him an assistant in Barfi. He has an in-depth knowledge about filmmaking,” the Life In A Metro maker added. As per the filmmaker, Arijit also loves to open a school for kids and spend time with them. The singer has a lot of plans.

It is going to be a jungle adventure film, which has Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead role. The shooting is currently going on in Shanti Niketan.
