That’s exactly what comes and ruins a relationship. Everything is so nice in the beginning because you’re not operating out of your mind and ego; your heart is open because it’s new and fresh. As time progresses and you become more familiar and comfortable, your ego starts stepping in, it wants drama. You start looking for reasons, triggers start happening, and you start responding to it, reacting to it. I think being very mindful that two people are together because they love each other and love has to do with the heart, not the mind. Remembering that, reminding each other in times of need, and creating that space for each other where you can express yourself. Good, bad, or ugly — we are all made up of different things.
