For the unversed, Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan worked together on the Malayalam remake of Lucifer, titled Godfather. Helmed by Mohan Raja, the film saw Salman Khan appear in a cameo role. The movie also featured Nayanthara, Satyadev, Puri Jagannadh, Murali Sharma, Tanya Ravichandran in key roles.

On the Salman Khan is busy with Apoorva Lakhia's forthcoming war dramaBattle of Galwan, which will see Chitrangda Singh play the female lead. The project revolves around the 2020 Galwan Valley war between the Indian and Chinese troops.
