Former Miss Universe India Vartika Singh Gears Up For Big Bollywood Debut With Junglee Pictures' Haq

on November 7. Ahead of that, it's been revealed that former Miss Universe India and supermodel Vartika Singh has joined the star cast. The rising actor will make her big Bollywood debut with Junglee Pictures' Haq.
Vartika Singh joins Haq, character details revealed
Haq, featuring Emraan, Yami and Vartika, has been directed by Suparn Varma. In this film, Vartika will be seen playing the role of a woman who is unpredictable and emotionally exacting.As a part of her character prep, the rising actor trained with dialect coaches. Additionally, she worked through improvisation-based workshops to understand her character's silences. Vartika, who hails from Lucknow, seems to be the right addition to the film.

A month ago, Junglee Pictures shared Haq's official teaser on YouTube. While sharing it, the production company penned, "Shazia Bano takes her husband Abbas to court after he abandons her and their children, sparking a national battle over faith, women’s rights, and justice. Inspired by the landmark Supreme Court judgement of Mohd. Ahmed Khan vs. Shah Bano Begum. Haq is the story of one woman’s fight for her rights and justice."Helmed by Suparn, the film is a fictionalised and dramatised version of events stated in Jigna Vora's book, Bano: Bharat ki Beti.
