The event saw his daughter Esha Deol paying tribute to her late father. In memory of Dharmendra, the Dhoom actress took to social media on Thursday evening and shared an emotional video featuring her father's memorable moments and a glimpse of Dilip Kumar praising him at an award function.

Dharmendra’s passing
Dharmendra’s death on November 24 marked the end of an era in Hindi cinema. Renowned for his versatility, the actor left behind an indelible legacy with iconic performances in classics such as Aya Sawan Jhoom Ke, Sholay, Chupke Chupke, Ayee Milan Ki Bela, and Anupama. Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to Dharmendra on X, calling him “an iconic film personality, a phenomenal actor who brought charm and depth to every role.”Superstar Rajinikanth also remembered his long-time friend with a heartfelt message: “Farewell, my friend. I will always remember your golden heart and the moments we shared. Rest in peace, Dharam ji.”

Despite challenges in the early 2000s with films like

Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, a romantic comedy starring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. Dharmendra’s final film,
Ikkis, is set for release on December 25, providing fans with one last opportunity to experience the legendary star on the big screen.
