Marathi actor Sachin Chandwade, who was seen in the popular Hindi series, Jamtara 2, died by suicide at the age of 25. He was found hanging in his Pune apartment. Hailing from Jalgaon’s Parola district,
he was working at Pune IT Park as a software engineer. Sachin was passionate about acting since childhood and was gearing up for the release of his new Marathi film, Asurvan.

According to Maharashtra Times, Sachin was found dead on October 23 at his Jalgaon residence. His family members saw him hanging from a ceiling fan and rushed him to the hospital. Though he was admitted to a private hospital close to his village, Undirkhede, the family moved him to a hospital in Dhule after his health deteriorated. Five days before his death, Sachin shared the motion poster of his upcoming Marathi film, Asurvan. He wasn’t regular on social media and posted pictures related to the work that he did. On September 23, 2022, Sachin shared a picture from the set of Jamtara 2. He was seen in a character role in the popular Netflix series. He had a prominent role to play in Asurvan, co-starring Pooja Moily and Anuj Thakare. Directed by Sachin Ramchandra Ambat, the film is scheduled to release this year. The promotions had just kicked off when the news of Sachin's death surfaced. He seemed to be one of the leads in the thriller. Following his untimely death, Parola police registered an ‘accidental death’ case. The reason behind his suicide is yet to be determined. His family and the makers of Asurvan are yet to come on record about Sachin's suicide at 25.
