SS Rajamouli is known as one of the few Indian filmmakers who has redefined Indian cinema. Now his film Baahubali The Epic a re-edited version of Baahubali Franchise, 3-hour-45-minute is releasing in theatres.
The film, which brings together Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion, has already premiered in the US ahead of its worldwide re-release on October 31. Mahesh Babu’s son Gautam Ghattamaneni is among the few to watch the early shows.

The first review came from Gautam Ghattamaneni, superstar Mahesh Babu’s son, who saw the film at the US premiere. Speaking to TV9, Gautam said, “The best thing for me is not having to wait for 2 years on why Kattappa killed Baahubali. But overall, the enhancement is very well done. It is very incredible to see our Telugu film getting so much international recognition. It is one of the greatest feelings for me as someone who grew up watching a film like this. I’m getting goosebumps — I can’t explain that feeling. It is a crazy feeling and one of my first major cinema experiences.”
Audience have been taking to social media to share the positive reviews. One user wrote, “First half of #BaahubaliTheEpic doesn’t let you breathe. It is so fast-paced with event after event unfolding until the interval.
