Speaking to talk-show host Gopinath, Dulquer was asked if it is advantageous or disadvantageous to come from a film family. “It is definitely an advantage. I do not think it is fair to ever say it is a disadvantage,” Dulquer said. The actor also spoke about the downside of being famous. “Sometimes, we might feel a little targeted or something. But I think anyone who reaches a certain level of fame or success will become targeted. Therefore, I do not think we should say it is a struggle or a disadvantage.”

The grandson of actor MK Thyagaraja Bhagavathar, B Thiagarajan, has filed a plea with the Madras High Court against the film Kaantha.According to Live Law, Thiagarajan has stated that his grandfather has been portrayed as a person who lived with loose morals, became blind, and died of penury, which is incorrect.
