Jr NTR's Birthday Post Has TWO Japan Connections - Who Are Asahi And Yuuhi?

The actor gave a special treat to his fans by sharing the first glimpse of his next film, Dragon, which is being helmed by the KGF director, Prashanth Neel. Jr NTR is having a gala time with his family members in Hyderabad. His fans have been wishing him well on his birthday on social media. Amidst all, the RRR star has recently shared a new birthday post that has two new family members from Japan. He introduced his ‘birdies’ – Asahi and Yuuhi – by sharing a couple of pictures with the parrots.

Jr NTR Reflects His Love For Japan

Jr NTR took to his Instagram handle and shared a couple of pictures with the two parrots that he brought from Japan. He named them Asahi and Yuuhi. In the pictures, one can see the Janata Garage actor is having fun with his ‘birdies’. Asahi is seen sitting on NTR’s hand, while Yuuhi is exploring the new home. Jr NTR captioned the post as, “Introducing my birdies Asahi (朝日) & Yuuhi (夕日)… Reflecting my love for Japan.” The Telugu superstar’s post is going viral on social media and netizens can’t stop gushing over the cute moments between the birds and Jr NTR.

While some fans wished Jr NTR a happy birthday, others praised his transformation for the action thriller, Dragon.

Asahi And Yuuhi Have AM-PM Connection

Coming back to Asahi and Yuuhi, the birds' names have a deep meaning. In Japanese, Asahi means the rising sun. Yuuhi means the setting sun. It looks like Jr NTR named the parrots on the basis of their wings' colours, as Asahi has bright yellow-coloured wings, while Yuuhi has shades of blue on its wings.

About Dragon

Jr NTR’s next with Prashanth Neel was earlier titled NTRNeel. Ahead of Jr NTR’s birthday, the makers unveiled the first glimpse of the film along with the title, Dragon. The much-awaited film will be released in theatres on June 11, 2027. Dragon has a powerful star cast which includes Jr NTR in the lead role. Anil Kapoor has joined the cast to play the intense character. On the other hand, Kantara: Chapter 1 fame Rukmini Vasanth, Biju Menon, Bimal Oberoi, Ashutosh Rana, Anshuman Pushkar, Sidhant Gupta and others are also there in pivotal roles.

About Jr NTR’s Last Film

Jr NTR was last seen in his first Hindi film, War 2, alongside Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the YRF film failed miserably at the box office. After finishing its shoot, Jr NTR started working on Dragon and transformed himself completely for the dynamic role in the film. He is yet to finish the shooting of the film. Apart from that, Jr NTR will also be seen in Nelson’s untitled project and Devara Part 2.
