Mark Ruffalo teases Spider-Man, Venom crossover
During a conversation at the Italian Ministry of Public Education, Ruffalo sent fans into a frenzy by teasing a Spider-Man and Venom crossover. The 58-year-old actor, who's often called Marvel's spoiler culprit, revealed that MCU's friendly neighbourhood hero could face an extraterrestrial threat soon. "I promise you 1000% that he will be fighting an alien in the future," Ruffalo said.
Though he refrained from delving into any further detail, his statement left Marvel fandom cracking their brains about the possible turn of events that could leave Spidey and Venom coming face to face.
Fans say 'symbiote war incoming'
Fans were quick to post reactions on social media. An X (formerly Twitter) user wrote, "Well, at least I can sleep peacefully now, knowing that he’s going to get the symbiote soon." Another one said, "I mean he fought plenty of aliens already so it’s not really spoiling. We know he’s seeing venom soon or getting the symbiote in secret wars."A user asked, "I AM PRYING that we can for ONCE get an accurate adaptation of the symbiote arc and Eddie Brock and Venom, but who would yall cast as Venom tho?"
