screen. Apart from that, they will get a chance to watch fresh pairs in movies. Ranbir Kapoor is working for the first time with Sai Pallavi in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana: Part 1. On the other hand, Kartik has collaborated with Sreeleela on Anurag Basu's upcoming musical love story. Besides them, there are a few new pairs that you will watch in 2026 on the big screen.

Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi

Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana: Part 1 marks Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi's union. They are working together for the first time on a movie. While Ranbir will be seen as Lord Ram, the actress essays the role of Goddess Sita in the mythological epic. Apart from them, Ramayana: Part 1 stars Ravi Dubey as Laxman, Yash as Ravan and Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman. The movie is scheduled for a big-screen release Diwali 2026.

Akshay Kumar and Wamiqa Gabbi

Akshay Kumar and Wamiqa Gabbi have teamed up for the first time for Priyadarshan's movie. The actors have been paired together for Bhooth Bangla. Last year, the actress showed her comic skills in Bhool Chuk Maaf with Rajkummar Rao. On the other hand, Akshay is already known for his great comic timing. It will be interesting to see how their pairing works in this horror comedy.

Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela

Kartik Aaryan will be seen sharing screen space with Sreeleela in Anurag Basu's upcoming movie. The actor has been romantically paired opposite the actress in an untitled musical love story. Helmed by Anurag, the film was initially set to release on Diwali 2025 and now it is expected to arrive in 2026.

Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri

Shahid Kapoor will be seen alongside Triptii Dimri in O'Romeo. This film marks their first professional collaboration. The film is being directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. It will be interesting for audiences to watch this fresh pairing on the big screen.

Siddhant Chaturvedi and Mrunal Thakur

Apart from the above-mentioned actors, we will see Siddhant Chaturvedi pair on-screen with Mrunal Thakur for the first time. The actors will be seen romancing each other in Do Deewane Seher Mein. Directed by Ravi Udyawar, the romantic drama has been produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. It will be releasing in theatres on February 20, 2026.

Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia

Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannah Bhatia will also be seen together on the big screen in Vvan. The folk thriller is set for a theatrical release on May 15, 2026. It has been directed by Anurabh Kumar and Deepak Mishra.

Vedang Raina-Sharvari
