Russo Brothers hint Avengers: Doomsday teasers contain clues

After the release of the fourth Avengers: Doomsday teaser, the filmmakers posted on their joint Instagram account and wrote, "What you've been watching for the last four weeks… are not teasers. Or trailers. They are stories. They are clues… Pay attention." They even added a thrilling new hashtag #DoomsdayHasBegun. Let the conspiracy theories begin!

The first Avengers: Doomsday teaser trailer features Steve Rogers as Captain America (Chris Evans). The next was Chris Hemsworth returning as Thor, while the third featured the X-Men with scenes of Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart), Magneto (Ian McKellan), and Cyclops (James Marsden). The fourth teaser trailer features Wakanda's M'Baku (Winston Duke) and Shuri (Letitia Wright) alongside Fantastic Four's Ben Grimm (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) with a glimpse of Namor (Tenoch Heurta) and his people.

Possible storylines hinted at in Avengers: Doomsday

The first two teasers about the OG Avengers Captain America and Thor, feature children and are parental. The next two deal with death and loss. The tone of the four teasers is wildly different. Are the filmmakers hinting about Doctor Doom (Robert Downey Jr) and his curious interest in the next generation of superheroes? How will they save or hinder the multiverse?
