Vijay also announced the release date and time of the Jana Nayagan trailer. The Tamil actor took to his Instagram handle and shared the poster, in which he is looking dashing. Vijay didn’t caption his post, as the announcement itself has the power to drive fans crazy with his daredevil attitude. Jana Nayagan has already created a solid buzz amongst the masses ahead of its release.

In the poster shared by Thalapathy Vijay on Instagram, the actor looks dapper in a black shirt. He is seen holding a gun. On the other hand, one can see Bobby Deol’s glimpse as an antagonist. Let us tell you, the Jana Nayagan trailer will be out on January 3 at 6:45 pm on social media. Since the film is one of the most anticipated films in the Tamil film industry, the Vijay fans will keep their eye on the screen to see the Jana Nayagan trailer. It will be released in three languages – Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. In Hindi, the film is called Jana Neta, while in Telugu, it is named Jana Nayakadu.

It has to be noted that Jana Nayagan is Vijay’s 69th film, and it will be his last screen appearance. He is taking a retirement from acting and will soon begin his political career. Talking about Jana Nayagan, the film will be released on January 9, 2026, on the occasion of Pongal. Directed by H Vinoth, the film also stars Pooja Hegde, Mamitha Baiju, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Priyamani, Narain, Sunil, Monisha Blessy, Baba Bhaskar, Teejay Arunasalam, Srinath, Irfan Zaini, Jason Shah and others in key roles.
