Mrunal Thakur Felt Disappointed With Son Of Sardaar 2 Makers
In an interview with Prema, Mrunal Thakur revealed she didn’t know a very senior actor was going to play her husband in the film. She didn’t expect it from the movie. She failed to understand that. “Because there was a little bit of trust that was shaken. But you know what, I don’t have regrets,” Mrunal added. For the unversed, Mrunal played the role of Rabia Akhtar, while Chunky Panday played her estranged husband, Danish. On the other hand, Ajay Devgn played the role of Jassi, who is married to Dimple, played by Neeru Bajwa.
Moreover, Mrunal Thakur also mentioned that a few important scenes between her and Roshni Walia’s character, who played her stepdaughter Saba in the film, were cut from Son Of Sardaar 2. Mrunal feels that those two important scenes of hers would have added beauty to the narrative. She felt the narrative about her character and her struggle was missing. Son Of Sardaar 2 failed miserably at the box office. It was made on a budget of Rs 150 crore but couldn’t even recover its production cost. The film is now available to watch on Netflix.
