Dhurandhar's hype is real! As the advance bookings opened on Monday, four days before release. The highly anticipated Aditya Dhar directorial has begun pre-sales on a strong note, although the impressive
numbers are partly due to steep ticket prices nationwide. The film has been hit with the ‘blockbuster surcharge’, an additional pricing slab applied by exhibitors to high-demand titles pushing premium tickets in major cities to over Rs 2000.
Dhurandhar Ticket Prices Surge Across India
Currently, advance booking is open for just under 3000 shows across the country. The average ticket price for the regular format on Friday stands at Rs 307, with prices climbing further on Sunday.In comparison,

Dhurandhar is significantly higher, hovering around Rs 570 for the weekend.Premium recliner seats in Delhi and Mumbai are priced above Rs 1600 for Sunday. The highest ticket price in the country is at PVR Director’s Cut, Vasant Kunj (Delhi), at Rs 2400 and tickets are already being bought rapidly.Similarly, premium seats at PVR Icon, Andheri (Rs 1610), are sold out for Friday. Even non-metro cities like Gurgaon have premium tickets nearing Rs 2000.In tier-1 cities, IMAX tickets are also crossing the Rs 1000 mark.

Advance Sales Show Early Momentum
Dhurandhar sold over 20,000 tickets within the first few hours of bookings opening. Although the pace has slowed since, sales are expected to rise sharply on Wednesday and Thursday as the release date approaches.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film features Ranveer Singh as an Indian spy who infiltrates the criminal syndicates of Lyari Town in Pakistan. Several characters are inspired by real individuals, and the storyline draws from true incidents linked to the Lyari gang wars.Releasing on December 5, the film also stars Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, and Sara Arjun.
