Jony Ive left Apple to collaborate with OpenAI CEO Sam Altman to make AI hardware, and they were keeping all the details hidden about the device until now. However, it looks like the two have finalised the design of the device. In an interview with Laurene Powell Jobs at Emerson Collective's Demo Day 2025, they said that the device is currently in the prototyping stage.
