Justin
Bieber is currently being trolled at his Coachella Music Festival comeback. The singer returned after four years with his first live concert following severe health issues. Fans all around the world highly anticipated Justin Bieber's return. The artist performed various hit songs like Baby, Never Say Never, and Beauty and the Beat on YouTube. Justin sang along to these music videos playing in the background on his laptop. Amid the fans' disappointment, another hit singer, Katy Perry, was seen attending Justin’s concert with former Canadian Prime Minister and boyfriend Justin Trudeau. Katy shared her glimpse from the concert on her social media.
Katy Perry mocked Justin’s YouTube searches
Justin Bieber was reportedly paid $10 million for his Coachella set on Saturday, April 11. The artist is facing backlash over the internet for his ‘lazy performance’ as he went on to play his music videos in the background and sang along with them. Katy shared her visual gallery from the concert on her Instagram page. The 13-slide post showcased how Katy enjoyed the concert with Trudeau, whom she has been dating for some time. The third slide of the post showed Katy poking fun at Bieber when he was going through his YouTube searches saying “Thank God he has Premium, I don’t want to see no ads."
Fans watching the clip found it amusing and relatable. Katy also reminisced about her and Justin’s early days, where she shared a post where both the artists look very young and are with a bunch of kids and fans. Bieber faces backlash from fans
For Bieber's comeback, the artist was anticipated to do a live performance, bringing nostalgia to an entire generation of pop music fans, which he did but with a twist. But by using YouTube to perform, various critics called out his set. One fan on X said that she might cry, as it is Justin’s worst performance ever! As he was seen playing music videos from YouTube, fans called it “pure laziness."
Bieber’s trolling also comes from the fact that he was the most paid artist at Coachella but he did ‘no work.' While the singer was trolled for his low-effort performance, his die-hard fans praised him for bringing back his OG songs that they will cherish forever. Various posts on social media from celebrities like Kendall Jenner, Hailey Bieber and other fans also showered love on the artist’s comeback.
