Take Two Interactive's earnings call came as a shocker for all GTA fans. Where all the fans were expecting that the company will make a big announcement related to the trailer of the game or pre-orders,

the officials disappointed everyone by officially announced a delayed release date for the game. The game is now not getting released on May 26, 2026, and the date has been pushed by six more months.

So, according to a post on X from the official handle of Rockstar Games, GTA 6 will now be launching on Thursday, November 19, 2025. The studio has apologised for the additional time and said that they want more time to polish the game and give the users what they deserve. On the delay, Take Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said, 'If a game requires more polish to be the best possible version of itself, then we will give that game more time.'This delay comes as a major disappointment for the fans because it's happening for the third or fourth time. The impact of the delay is so huge that even big brands like KFC, Domino's, Mr Beast, and more posted memes related to the same on X. KFC posted a meme from GTA San Andreas where CJ can be seen saying, 'Ah shit, here we go again.' On the other hand, Domino's UK said, 'call us if you need help delivering.'

GTA 6 Price In India And More

It is also being said that GTA 6 will be priced globally on the high side.
