Anthropic has already claimed that the model is so powerful that it cannot be launched for the masses. In a recent development, according to a report, the US National Security Agency (NSA)could be using Mythos to trigger cyberattacks across the world, and Anthropic is also helping with the same.The report published by Financial Times suggested that the US NSA may be using Mythos for cyberattacks and could be useful in infiltrating networks of countries like Iran or China. As of now, the US may have the most advanced AI model to target its adversaries and exploit vulnerabilities in their systems that may let US to get sensitive information

or access to their networks. These Anthropic FDEs are most probably doing something similar, aiding in the deployment and customisation of Mythos for specific use cases in the National Security Agency that may also consist of reported plans for cyberattacks. One person close to Anthropic said, 'The best way to build a good defence is to build a good attack.” The person explained that if the US does not use Mythos for attacks, its adversaries may find a way instead. "If [Mythos] is not used to build attack agents, adversaries will find a way to do it.' Anthropic said it was also going to expand access to about 15 more countries and 150 additional organisations, including India as well. However, it has not been revealed which Indian company is going to get Claude Mythos access.
