Her son, Anand Bhosle, has confirmed the news of her passing on April 12. The legendary singer's last rites will be performed at 4 pm on April 13 at Shivaji Park. While interacting with a news agency, the veteran singer's son mentioned that people will be able to pay their last respects at 11 am at Casa Grande in Lower Parel, Mumbai.

For the unversed, on April 10, reports of the veteran singer suffering cardiac arrest had surfaced online. Later, Zanai Bhosle, the granddaughter of the 92-year-old, shared an official update on social media.Taking to X formerly Twitter) she penned, "My grandmother Asha Bhosle has been admitted to the hospital due to extreme exhaustion and a chest infection.
