Charan left everyone impressed with his transformation for Peddi. The actor underwent physical preparation to play the role of a wrestler. The sports drama, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, is set for worldwide theatrical release on June 4. Ahead of that, the makers recently unveiled the official trailer of Peddi. Post its release, they dropped an interview with Ram and director Buchi Babu Sana. During a conversation with the film's director, the Telugu star discussed the intense physical prep for his character. It has been produced by Vriddhi Cinemas and IVY Entertainment.

While interacting with
Peddi director, Ram revealed he had to undergo two body transformations. The actor recalled that Buchi Babu Sana first asked him to get a cricketer's physique and then a wrestler's. He mentioned a cricketer is lean, while he had to build a bulkier body to play Kabbadi. Ram. "Then you told me to get a wrestler’s body," the actor told his director.
When Ram mentioned this, Buchi Babu Sana admitted he was initially to ask the actor for such transformations. To this, the Peddi actor said he enjoyed the process. "They say you don’t feel the fatigue when you do the work you love," the actor added stating that's exactly how he felt. He further shed light on the impact of physical transformation after the shoot wrapped. Ram admitted that he experienced pain. "Even lifting my daughter hurts this hand. I need to get an X-ray. Constant grabbing during wrestling caused tremors," he shared. The actor also recalled how wrestlers in Peddi struggled to act because of their sporting institcs. However, the team of Peddi managed to complete the shoot.
