Actor Jr NTR reached NTR GHAT in Hyderabad to pay homage to his grandfather, legendary actor and former CM of Andhra Pradesh, Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, on his 103rd birth anniversary. While sharing an image on his X account, Jr NTR recalls how his grandfather instilled self-respect in the Telugu people and brought pride to their race; for this gift of self-respect and pride, the entire Telugu community will remain forever indebted. N. T. Rama Rao (NTR), started his career with the movie Mana Desam in the year 1949. The movie was a social patriotic drama under the direction of L. V. Prasad and starred NTR as a police officer.

Chiranjeevi Konidela recalled NTR's legacy through the roles he played in Telugu cinema. While sharing a post on X, he says the influence of 'Ramu' won't be impacted, as Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, the great legend of all time, is not going to fade away from history. Calling him one of the most renowned icons of Indian cinema, he praised the veteran actor for his numerous immortal characters on-screen, through his brilliant acting skills that won the hearts of millions. More than that, he has become an icon of Telugu self-respect through his work in politics and social affairs. Further in the post, he mentions how the 'NTR National Award' in recent times has been an emotional experience for him. Chiranjeevi said that the award is a true honour that has been given in recognition of the profound esteem that he has for the legendary actor and social leader.
