is mourning the sudden demise of veteran actor Dharmendra on November 24. With Bollywood celebrities and famous personalities visiting one of the most respected actor's house to pay last respects today, Dharmendra's family members laid him to rest at Mumbai's Pawan Hans crematorium on Monday.Dharmendra is lived by his ex-wife Prakash Kaur, wife Hema Malini, and children Bobby Deol, Sunny Deol, Esha Deol, Ahana Deol, Vijeta Deol, Ajeeta Deol. Who is Prakash Kaur?
Born into a Sikh-Punjabi family in Lahore, she is the elder sister of Surinder Kaur, famous Punjabi singer-songwriter. Kaur made her professional debut with a live performance on Peshawar Radio in 1941, and then on 31 August 1943, the two sisters, Prakash and Surinder, performed their first duet, Maavan 'Te Dheean Ral Baithian, for the His Master's Voice label.
Dharmendra's marriage with Prakash Kaur
Dharmendra married his first wife Prakash Kaur before even entering the entertainment industry in 1954. At that time, the actor was just 19 years old with a simple life. The couple had Sunny Deol, their first son, before he made his Bollywood debut with Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi Tere in 1960. Sunny was followed by Vijeta, (born in 1962), Ajeeta (born in 1966) and then Bobby, who was born in 1969.Apart from them, Dharmendra had two daughters with Hema Malini too, Esha Deol (born in 1981) and Ahana Deol (born in 1985).

It is rumoured that the actor married actress Hema Malini in the year 1980 without divorcing Kaur but during a candid conversation in an interview, she asserted that, "Why only my husband? Any man would have preferred Hema over me.” Throughout his life, Dharmendra spent most of his time with Kaur, while Hema Malini lived independently with her children.
