Sandhu left audiences impressed with his performance in Dhurandhar 2. The actor essays the character of Pinda, seen as the best friend of Ranveer Singh's Jaskirat Singh Rangi (also Hamza Ali Mazari). In the Aditya Dhar directorial, Udaybir sports two drastically different looks. Speaking of which, the actor exclusively told Zoom that he was already informed that his character will have a 20-year difference in the movie. To ace the part, the actor underwent a major physical transformation. Udaybir also mentioned that he had to work on mental transformation for his role.

In an exclusive conversation with us, Udaybir reflected on his physical transformation for Aditya Dhar's
Dhurandhar The Revenge. The actor said, "So what people usually do is they don't have time to do that kind of transformation, and they don't want to lose that weight and maybe gain or lose again. I was totally invested in the project because I knew it was going to be good for me. It was going to get me noticed somewhere. So I started with the physical transformation first, because that's the first impression."
The
Dhurandhar 2 actor added that even when one doesn't speak, people can still make the difference. Talking about getting the mannerisms right for his character, the actor recalled his brief for it. "This was the brief of the character that he is a very desi, pendu kind of a guy, rugged and a small guy in Punjab. Then, 20 years later, he has seen a lot, he lost his best friend and has been taking care of the family. He has been through a lot. He had his dad's business, and then he turned into a big drug lord."Considering the arc Pinda goes through, Udaybir added that there had to be a difference in the mannerisms.
Udaybir Sandhu: I played with voice modulation
As the conversation continued, the actor admitted, "Mentally, I worked on a lot. He further mentioned spoke about working on voice modulation. "We obviously shot the older bit first. The weight actually did a lot of work for me because that brought in a lot. Plus, I had to change my voice in it. I played a lot with my voice modulation and with the dialogues."
As for his character's younger version, Udaybir was required to keep thin voice. "The older was... like normally people get bass in their voice after a certain point of time. These were the two things," he mentioned while signing off.Meanwhile,
