Bollywood filmmaker Rohit Shetty, known for Golmaal, Singham and other hit franchises, faced an alarming incident on the night of January 31. In a shocking turn of events,four shots were fired outside his Mumbai residence in the plush Juhu area by unknown assailants. While more details about the firing are awaited, security has been tightened outside his home. Earlier today, a team of forensic experts also reached the spot to collect evidence, while cops were seen assessing the crime scene from his balcony. For those unversed, he has been targeting the Bollywood superstar over the black buck case.In a similar incident, comedian-actor Kapil Sharma’s Canada-based restaurant, Kap’s Cafe, was attacked twice in the past. Both incidents were reportedly warnings from the same gang. Shots were also fired at AP Dhillon’s house in Canada, with gangsters linked to the Bishnoi gang allegedly warning him over his close association with Salman Khan.In the latest development, the same gang has taken responsibility for the attack on Shetty's home. The firing that took place today at film director Rohit Shetty’s house in Mumbai (Shetty Tower) is being claimed by Shubham Lonkar, Arju Bishnoi and Hari Boxer Hasan Sambhu. We had warned him several times not to interfere in our work, but he did not understand. That is why this small trailer was given. If he still fails to understand our message, the next shot will not be fired outside the house, but inside the bedroom. This is a warning to him and, going forward, to the entire Bollywood," read their statement.More details are currently awaited.
