Saiyaara Actor Ahaan Panday Says He's Not 'Star Kid': I Come From Behind A Fence

Ahaan Panday may belong to a family connected to the industry—his uncle Chunky Panday is a popular actor and his cousin Ananya Panday is already a star—but he still doesn’t see himself as a "star kid."

He pointed out that his father Chikki Panday, known for being close to superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, isn’t a "star" himself. But if I have to speak on behalf of my friends, I think each has their own trials and tribulations."He also spoke about growing up around the filmy world. "I've always felt like the place I come from is behind a fence. I can reach out through it, but I can’t quite touch what’s on the other side. Even as a child, I felt that way—surrounded by the film industry, but never really in it. What I consider my privilege is that I got to see it all up close. He said they had seen the ups and downs of his uncle Chunky Panday’s career and worried whether it was the right path. Meanwhile, on the work front, the young star will be next seen in Ali Abbas Zafar's upcoming actioner. He's undergoing an intense transformation for the same.
