And the night everyone was waiting for finally arrived on Saturday (May 16). In the epic grand finale, Gullu aka Kushal Tanwar and Kaira Anu emerged as the winning couple. They took home the Rs 20 lakh cash prize after the victory. Their strong bond, teamwork and consistency made them the winners of India’s popular dating reality show. After facing tough competition and emotional ups and downs, the duo won the audience’s hearts and the trophy.

Pyaar has won over paisa! Gullu and Kaira are the winners of MTV Splitsvilla 16. The couple proved their love and themselves through the tasks and challenges set by Mischief Makers Nia Sharma and Uorfi Javed. After months in the game show, they emerged victorious.Despite shifting dynamics in the villa and intense tasks, they navigated their way through it all. The couple also enjoyed massive support on social media.The finale saw them compete against Yogesh Rawat and Ruru Thakur, another strong pair. Proving that they are indeed a power couple, Kaira and Gullu won the grand finale. Others part of the final competition were Sorab Bedi and Niharika Tiwari, and Tayne De Villiers and Soundharya Shetty.

Excited about the win, Gullu expressed his gratitude to everyone who supported him and said that he was extremely happy after winning. He added that they truly deserved the victory because, according to him, their journey was stronger than anyone else’s. He said that he and Kaira had been connected from day one and she had always supported him. He recalled that during tasks, she would say she wanted to win for him and make him win. He further mentioned that people did not like him initially, but later they became favourites. For him, turning hatred into love feels like the biggest victory.Meanwhile, Kaira could not describe her happiness and said that she was still trying to process everything. She described the journey as beautiful and emotional. Winning MTV Splitsvilla X6 - Pyaar Ya Paisa with Gullu felt unreal to her. She said they faced every challenge together, stayed strong through all the negativity, and were chosen by the audience.The Splitsvilla X6 grand finale aired on May 16 at 7 pm on MTV India. It is also available to stream on JioHotstar. The first part of the finale was already broadcast on TV and OTT on Friday.
