While
certain stars of Stranger Things, such as Nell Fisher, Natalia Dyer, Noah Schnapp, and Winona Ryder, are taking it easy after wrapping Season 5, others have moved on to other projects. From movies like Enola Holmes 3 to the London stage with Romeo and Juliet, the cast of Stranger Things is ensuring they stay booked and busy. Check out the list below!
Millie Bobby Brown
Even before the end of
Stranger Things, Brown has been busy as an entrepreneur and actress. This year, she has more time for acting projects with
the third Enola Holmes movie, a rom-com titled
Just Picture It with Gabriel LaBelle and a series called
Prism in development. Brown is also rumoured to be training for the biopic on American Olympic gymnast Keri Strug.
David Harbour
Besides reprising his role as Red Guardian in
Avengers: Doomsday in December 2026, Harbour's upcoming films include a voice role in the animated film
Goat and the live-action films
Violent Night 2 and
Evil Genius. He will also co-star alongside Jason Bateman in the HBO comedy
DTF St. Louis.
Finn Wolfhard
Finn Wolfhard will make his Saturday Night Live debut on January 17, with A$AP Rocky as the musical guest. Apart from this, the young actor is keeping busy with the comedy film Crash Land, with Gabriel LaBelle, about a chaotic group of amateur stunt performers in a small town. He is working on a biopic about
the 1980s rock band The Replacements with his father, Eric Wolfhard and plans to continue touring in 2026 with his band The Aubreys.
Gaten Matarazzo
The actor, who plays Dustin Henderson on the Netflix series, is voicing Lucky the piglet in the animated version of
Animal Farm later this year. He is also starring in an untitled Hulu comedy film with
The Goldbergs actor Sean Giambrone about two lonely college undergrads, Jack and Montgomery, who order a take-out pie, but accidentally end up taking a homemade drug.
Caleb McLaughlin
Along with
Stranger Things co-star David Harbour, Caleb McLaughlin voices the main character in the animated feature
Goat. The actor is also rumoured to star in Jordan Peele's next and fans are already petitioning him to play Miles Morales in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Charlie Heaton
Last year, Heaton, who plays Jonathan Byers in the series, acted alongside Al Pacino in the film
Billy Knight. His next role is the award-winning HBO and BBC series
Industry. He joins the show in Season 4 as journalist Jim Dycker. Heaton will also star in the 2026 Netflix drama series

Like Brown, Sadie Sink also has a busy 2026. Up first, she will make her West End debut with Noah Jupe in Shakespeare’s
Romeo and Juliet. Directed by Robert Icke, the play runs from March to June. The actress officially makes her MCU debut with Tom Holland in
Spider-Man: Brand New Day in July 2026. Her character is being kept a secret, though reports suggest she is a part of
Avengers: Secret Wars as well.
Joe Keery
While Keery's character, Steve Harrington, chooses to stay back in Hawkins, the actor has been branching out as a music artist as well. His 2022 song
End of Beginning hit the number one spot in the UK after the show and dethroned Taylor Swift on the Spotify charts as well. Keery has the horror film
Cold Storage, and rumours also suggest he has a small role in
Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which also stars Sink.

After wrapping her role as Robin Buckley, Maya Hawke signed up for several films. She will be seen as the younger version of Wiress in the prequel film
The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. Maya also stars in the rom-com
