American tech giant OpenAI has introduced a new image generation model called ChatGPT Images 2.0 on Tuesday. The Sam Altman-led company is back with a powerful AI model that not only makes lifelike images but can also generate better visuals with languages like Hindi, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and even Bengali. Earlier models worked well with English, but this model is brought to understand regional languages better, stated the company. ChatGPT Images 2.0 combines advanced reasoning and a strong understanding of images and real-world information. How Does ChatGPT Images 2.0 Work?OpenAI’s new image generation model improves how the company created AI images. Rather than producing something approximate, it brings what users ask for. As per the OpenAI blog
post, it can handle fine details like small text, icons, and complex layouts in a better way. In simple words, people get ready to use visuals and not just drafts that need correction.
This model is claimed to bring enhancements in style and realism. ChatGPT Images 2.0 can generate images that now look more natural, including small imperfections that make photos more real. It can also create specific styles more accurately, such as pixel art, manga, or cinematic scenes. In terms of aspect ratios, the latest image generation model supports wide, wide banners and even tall mobile layouts. Users can ask for specific sizes, and the AI will help them to make presentations, social media posts, and even posters with better customised results. Notably, the AI now even comes with the ‘think’ ability when used with advanced models. This model can now look for updated information, plan the structure, and even produce multiple images at once. It can help users for full projects like storyboards and complex visual designs. Who Can Use ChatGPT Images 2.0?OpenAI's latest image generation model is now available to all ChatGPT users, while advanced features will be accessible for paid subscribers like Pro and Plus. Developers can also use it through the API, with pricing based on image quality and size. Apart from ChatGPT and APIs, you can find it in Codex as well.
