Netflix India's slate announcement has revealed some interesting titles that will be released in 2026. Saif Ali Khan and Pratik Gandhi star in one of the streaming giant's upcoming projects titled Hum
Hindustani. Written and directed by Rahul Dholakia, the film is inspired by true events surrounding India's first-ever democratic election. "Telling the story of the country’s first democratic election through the eyes of those on the ground has been both a responsibility and a privilege. It is a story of belief, courage and collective effort that shaped the nation we know today," they said.For the unversed, Hum Hindustani has been produced by Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani.
