The fifth season of Stranger Things reportedly had some friction on set, as star Millie Bobby Brown is said to have filed a complaint against co-star David Harbour for bullying and harassment. The Netflix
series is kicking off its final season on November 26, with its first four episodes. However, before its world premiere later this month, a report states that the young star complained about her co-actor's behaviour.
Did David Harbour 'bully and harass' Millie Bobby Brown on Stranger Things set?
According to a report in the Daily Mail, Millie Bobby Brown had alleged that she was bullied and harassed on set by David Harbour. The actors play the adoptive father and daughter pair, Jim Hopper and Eleven, aka Jane, on the hit Netflix show. A source told the British tabloid, "Millie Bobby Brown filed a harassment and bullying claim before they started shooting the last season. There were pages and pages of accusations. The investigation went on for months."After the complaint, the 50-year-old Thunderbolts actor is said to have faced an internal enquiry by the streamer. Brown reportedly had a personal representative with her on set while filming the fifth season. Netflix did not comment on the tabloid report. Brown, Harbour and the co-creators of Stranger Things, brothers Matt and Ross Duffer, did not respond to the allegations in the report either. Stranger Things helped put Netflix on the map. Millions of fans around the world have been anticipating the finale. No one wants anything to take attention away from that." The harassment complaint comes on the heels of cheating allegations for the actor. Harbour's estranged wife, singer-songwriter Lily Allen, has claimed on her new album, West End Girl, that he cheated on her several times. The couple married in September 2020 and have been separated for a while now. Their New York brownstone home was put up for sale for $8 million.
