Ikkis,
based on Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal's life, is set to release on January 1, 2026. Directed by Sriram Raghavan, the biographical war drama stars Agastya Nanda and Dharmendra in key roles. Agastya plays the role of Arun Khetarpal, who is the youngest Param Vir Chakra awardee. Ahead of the film's release, a special screening of the film was held in Mumbai. Other than that, Arun Khetarpal's younger brother, Mukesh Khetarpal, recently watched Ikkis on the big screen. A video of him sharing his review of Ikkis has gone viral on social media. The film made him emotional.

PVR Pictures shared a video of Mukesh Khetarpal watching Ikkis in a theatre. After watching the film, he told director Sriram Raghavan, "My grouse is you made me cry. You made me relive... Certain things were in my mind, and moment by moment, when I saw it on screen, I got so emotional I couldn't stop crying. Now that I have seen the movie, I mean, the movie is 10 times or maybe 20 times or 100 times what we see in the trailer. Oh, fantastic!"
He further praised Agastya's performance in Ikkis and told him, "Whatever else you are, you will be Arun for life. There is no taking that away from you. Well done!"
