The filmmaker, who is a father of two, welcomed Katrina and Vicky to the ‘magical world of parenting’. Sharing the star couple’s picture on Instagram Story, Johar wrote, “Congratulations to this absolutely lovely and warm couple and this is the best news!!!! Blessings to the blessed baby boy welcome to the magical world of parenting.”

Katrina and Vicky's Koffee With Karan manifestation

Katrina and Vicky’s love story finds its roots in Koffee With Karan. Known as the ‘manifestation couch’, when host Karan Johar asked her which actor she’d like to work with, Katrina replied, “I would like to work with [Vicky] out of this list because I think we might look nice together.” An old clip from the episode aired in 2018 has resurfaced after Katrina and Vicky welcomed their son. Later, when Vicky appeared on the show, he was informed about Katrina’s answer. Reacting to it, the actor pretended to faint in disbelief. These episodes aired before they started dating each other. During her appearance on the show post marrying Vicky, Katrina said, “I did not even know much about him. He was just a name I had heard but had never associated with. But then, when I met him, I was won over!”Vicky, in a different episode of another season of Koffee With Karan, recalled proposing to Katrina a day before their intimate wedding. "It was very last minute. I had been warned by everybody that if you don't propose, it's something you'll have to be prepared for for the rest of your life that you got to hear about it. I did that one day before the wedding. It was dinner just before any of the friends and families could come. They were all coming the next day so it was just us", he said. Katrina and Vicky tied the knot in Rajasthan on December 9, 2021, after a few years of dating.
