Lal Yadav, famously known as Nirahua in Bhojpuri cinema, is all set for his second Hindi film. After Ajey: The Untold Story, he plays an important role in the upcoming film, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! Fun on the Run. Yadav has been one of the pillars of Bhojpuri cinema and took it to the nation through rooted roles and stories that appealed to the masses. Now, as he gears up for his second Hindi film, Nirahua spoke about how budget determines the scalability of a project. Talking to Zoom, the veteran actor and politician reacted to regional South cinema reaching global heights.

Nirahua says budget restrictions in Bhojpuri cinema

In an exclusive interview with Zoom, Nirahua shared his reaction to Telugu cinema getting global recognition for culturally rooted stories, but Bhojpuri has been struggling despite the mass appeal. He said, “Woh film ke budget ka bhi daayra hota hai. Agar film ka budget bohot zyada hai toh bade scale pe woh filmein bana paate hai. Bhojpuri mein woh nahi hai. Budget ki limit hai. (Budget is a boundary too. If heavy sum is invested in making a movie, the production value gets scaled up. This is not possible in Bhojpuri cinema. Budget is limited.)"

Nirahua on Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain film

The actor further added that Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! Fun on the Run will cater to audiences belonging to all regions across India. Calling it a thoroughly funny and simple, clean family entertainer. “Chahe woh Marathi ho, Punjabi ho, Telugu ho, Tamilian ho ya Hindi ho, sabko pasand aayegi aisi film hai Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! Fun on the Run,” he shared.

About Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain film

Before being adapted into a film, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai started as a television show and aired its first episode on &Pictures in 2015 with Shilpa Shinde, Saumya Tandon, Aasif Sheikh and Rohitashv Gour in the lead roles. It is streaming digitally on ZEE5. After Shilpa’s exit, Shubhangi Atre joined as Angoori Devi.

The film will star the lead actors of the daily soap along with Vidisha Srivastava, Ravi Kishan, Mukesh Tiwari and Nirahua. It is directed by Shashank Bali and produced by Zee Cinema along with Sanjay Kohli and Binaiffer Kohli. The film releases theatrically on February 6, 2026. Nirahua is among the most successful Bhojpuri actors. In 2012, he participated in Bigg Boss 6. His Hindi debut was the political drama Ajey in 2025.
