Mirzapur The Movie is scheduled to be released in theatres on September 4, 2026. It is being produced by Excel Entertainment and Amazon MGM Studios. Owing to its solid buzz amongst the masses, the makers decided to keep a fresh story with the touch of its raw and gritty core. A source informed us, "Mirzapur: The Movie is not a continuation of Season 4, but a fresh cinematic chapter in the franchise. In a first-of-its-kind move in India, the makers are taking one of the country’s biggest OTT series to the big screen. The film is expected to expand the world of Mirzapur on a larger, more cinematic scale while retaining its raw, gritty core.”

Moreover, a few reports also suggest that Mirzapur: The Movie is going to be bigger, darker and more cinematic than ever. It will have high-octane action sequences, new characters and so on. Some of the fan-favourite faces will also be returning to the film. Sholay’s Mehbooba Mehbooba-inspired track has also been shot for the movie. Sonal Chauhan will be seen performing the dance number in the gangster drama.

Mirzapur The Movie is expected to bring the raw action on the big screen once again. It is being helmed by Gurmeet Singh and written by Puneet Krishna. The film stars Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyenndu, Jitendra Kumar, Ravi Kishan, Abhishek Banerjee, Rasika Dugal, Shweta Tripathi, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Harshita Gaur, Sushant Singh, Mohit Malik, Sheeba Chaddha, Rajesh Tailang and others in key roles.
