The update was first spotted by TelecomTalk, and Airtel has already modified its website and app to reflect the change.What’s Gone And What Replaces ItThe discontinued packs were popular because they offered straightforward high-speed data benefits along with complimentary access to Airtel Xstream Play Premium, the platform that bundles content from more than 25 OTT services including Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar (JioHotstar), SonyLIV and others. With those two packs gone, users now have to shift to other available options if they rely on data-only recharges.What Are The New Options?The most affordable data add-on now sits at Rs 100. It brings 6GB of data and a 30-day validity, along with access to SonyLIV and 20 additional OTT platforms through Airtel Xstream Play.For users who burn through data a little faster, the Rs 161 pack offers 12GB for the same 30-day validity. Then there’s the Rs 195 option, which Airtel openly markets as the Best Cricket Pack. The telecom giant has added over 1.25 million new customers recently, showing that its momentum is strong even without these discontinued packs.
