Finn Wolfhard teases Stranger Things 5 final episodes with one word
As a callback to his first appearance on
The Tonight Show, host Jimmy Fallon asked him to describe the last four episodes in one word, with no spoilers. For Vol. 2, Episode 5, titled
Shock Jock, Wolfhard used an odd description and said, "Crispy." For Episode 6, titled
Escape From Camazotz, Finn tried to remember what happened in that chapter and stated, "I would say, shocking."
For Episode 7, titled
The Bridge, Finn said, "Enlightening," and the series finale, Episode 8, titled
The Rightside Up, was described by Finn to be "Emotional." So to recap, the last four episodes are about to be crispy, shocking, enlightening, and emotional. We are truly not prepared for what's next.
Finn Wolfhard on his last day on Stranger Things
Fallon also asked Wolfhard about his last scene on the Netflix hit. Reflecting on his last day, the actor said, "It's a really odd thing. It's a big moment of transitioning from this really tentpole thing that was part of your identity for so long, especially since it was our childhood. It was a lot to take in, and it was our weird little version of school. Except the school was in front of everyone. The end was very emotional. They called cut, and I got to spend it with the other cast and other kids."
He went on to add, "Before they called the take, I said, 'Before we go out to the crew [to say goodbye], let's just take three minutes for ourselves. When they say cut, let's just spend time, really collect ourselves, and try to be as present in the moment as we could.' And that was really the most special moment ever."
