Agastya Nanda
Agastya Nanda essays the role of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal. He got martyred at the age of 21 while fighting against the Pakistani soldiers in the Battle of Basantar. The battle was fought during the Indo-Pak war of 1971. For those unaware, Arun Khetarpal's tank was fired by Pakistani army officer Brigadier Khwaja Mohammed Naseer.
Jaideep Ahlawat
Jaideep Ahlawat is an integral part of the war drama produced by Maddock Films. In this film, the actor is initially introduced as Naseer. Towards the end of
Ikkis, it is revealed that he is Brigadier Khwaja Mohammed Naseer. (Spoilers ahead) Jaideep's character identity is revealed when he confessed the truth to Brigadier ML Khetarpal in the climax.
He had shot Arun Khetarpal during the Battle of Basantar.
Dharmendra
Ikkis is Dharmendra's posthumous release. The legendary Bollywood actor plays the role of Brigadier ML Khetarpal in the film. In the film, he visits Lahore for his college reunion and stays at Naseer's house, unaware of the fact that he fired at his son Arun Khetarpal's tank in the Battle of Basantar. ML Khetarpal lost his son Arun when he was only 21.
Rahul Dev
Bollywood actor Rahul Dev also has an important part to play in the film. He plays the role of Lieutenant Colonel (later Lieutenant General) Hanut Singh, MVC and the commanding officer of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal. He led the tank regiment during the Indo-Pak war of 1971.
Vivaan Shah
Vivaan Shah, son of Naseeruddin Shah and Ratna Pathak Shah, essays the role of Captain Vijender Malhotra in
Ikkis. He is seen as the colleague of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal. Captain Vijender Malhotra also fought the Indo-Pak war of 1971 with Arun.
Sikandar Kher

Ikkis, Sikandar Kher plays the character RIS Sagat Singh. He is a senior field officer who acts as the backbone of the regiment. The actor plays the character of an experienced senior to Agastya's Arun Khetarpal in the film.

Ikkis on the big screen. After watching the film on his brother's life, Mukesh told director Sriram, "My grouse is you made me cry. You made me relive... Certain things were in my mind, and moment by moment, when I saw it on screen, I got so emotional I couldn't stop crying. Now that I have seen the movie, I mean, the movie is 10 times or maybe 20 times or 100 times what we see in the trailer. Oh, fantastic!"
