The actor also lauded legendary actor Rajinikanth, calling himself 'too small' in front of him.

Singh said, "I am too small to be speaking about this level of greatness. All I can say is that I am looking forward to Jailer 2!" He then added the iconic 'Hukum!' and passed the mic to the audience, who echoed it back, leaving Rajinikanth smiling. A fitting tribute as the superstar was honoured for completing 50 years in cinema, celebrating a journey that has shaped generations and defined true mass stardom. Before the event, Rajinikanth gathered with his family for a special photo at the festival.The veteran actor was surrounded by his loved ones to commemorate this special milestone. Wife Latha Rajinikanth, daughters Aishwarya and Soundarya and their families were also present in the photo. Soundarya shared the photo on Instagram and wrote, "Together at @iffigoa," adding several red heart emojis.

Lal Salaam, directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth, was screened as part of a Retrospective Rajinikanth section at the festival. Rajinikanth also walked the red carpet and attended the screening. Speaking about the film and the honour for her father, Aishwarya shared, "As a daughter, as a director, and as a member of the film fraternity, this is a dream come true. I am extremely thankful to God today, and I thank my team for standing by me through every hardship. Thank you all so much for your support. To celebrate his 50th year, and for this film to be a part of that, is a blessing for his daughter and as a director. Thank you very much."
