Aamir
Khan, who delivered the first Rs 200 crore film, 3 Idiots, in Bollywood back in 2009, has confirmed that the sequel to the Rajkumar Hirani film will be made in the future. Aamir admitted that he has heard the script and called it ‘really good’. In a recent interview, he said that the director is working on 3 Idiots 2. Coming back to 3 Idiots, the film’s making stories are very interesting. For the unversed, Shah Rukh Khan was first approached to play the role of Rancho in the film. However, he declined the project, and eventually, Aamir did the iconic role. On the other hand, Kajol was approached for Kareena Kapoor Khan’s role in the film. She also refused to do it and the reason behind her refusal will leave you in shock.
Why Did Kajol Say No To 3 Idiots?
Kareena Kapoor’s performance in 3 Idiots was loved by the critics and the masses. But many people don’t know that
Kajol was the first choice for the role of Piya. However, she declined the film. In the episode of Aap Ki Adalat, Kajol was asked about saying no to 3 Idiots. Reacting to the question, the actress said that she wanted to play R Madhavan’s role in the film. But the makers refused to accept her demand. Eventually, she declined the project, which later turned out to be the biggest hit of 2009.
It has to be noted that Kajol has earlier declined many films like Mohra, Dil To Pagal Hai, Dil Se, Shakti and so on in the past.
