Poco has expanded its budget smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the new Poco C81 and Poco C81x. The Xiaomi sub-brand launched both devices on Thursday, bringing affordable smartphones with large displays, big batteries and long software support promises. While both handsets share a lot in common, there are a few key differences in display, battery and software. Meanwhile, the Poco C81x comes with a slightly smaller 6.88-inch HD+ display, also with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, but brightness tops out at 650 nits.The Poco C81 offers a 6300 mAh battery, while the C81x gets a 5200 mAh unit. Both support 15W wired charging and 7.5W reverse wired charging.Under the hood, both devices are powered by the octa-core Unisoc T7250 chipset paired with ARM Mali-G57 GPU. They come with LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB storage, expandable up to 2TB via microSD card.For optics, the Poco C81 gets a dual rear camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary camera and an additional secondary sensor. The Poco C81x, on the other hand, features a single 13-megapixel rear camera.
