of highly anticipated titles. From Republic Day 2026 to Christmas 2026, crucial holidays are blocked well in advance, allowing the audience to plan their theatre visits. As 2025 is bidding adieu in a couple of weeks, here’s your go-to guide for Bollywood festive releases. To be noted, this list is curated based on the prior announcements made by producers, and it is subject to change closer to release dates.
Republic Day 2026
Sunny Deol, Mona Singh, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty, Sonam Bajwa and Medha Rana’s highly anticipated war drama,
Border 2, has locked January 23, 2026, for its theatrical release. The Anurag Singh directorial arrives around the Republic Day 2026 celebrations in India. The teaser of the film will be out on December 16.
Holi 2026
Ayushmann Khurrana, Rakul Preet Singh, Sara Ali Khan and Wamiqa Gabbi will be seen in
Pati Patni Aur Woh’s spiritual sequel, titled
Pati Patni Aur Woh Do. The film, directed by Mudassar Aziz, is scheduled to release on March 4, 2026, during Holi in India.

Clashing with major multilingual films at the box office on Eid 2026 is
Dhurandhar: Part 2 – Revenge. Amid the success of the first time, the audience has pinned hopes on the second part to deliver yet another adrenaline-pumping action thriller. Dhurandhar: Part 2 will star Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Rakesh Bedi and Sara Arjun.
Good Friday 2026

Bhooth Bangla, directed by Priyadarshan, will be releasing on April 2, 2026, which is the eve of Good Friday. The horror-comedy reunites Akshay and Priyadarshan after many years. On April 3, 2026, Emraan Hashmi and Disha Patani’s
Awarapan 2 will be arriving in theatres. The previous part was directed by Mohit Suri, whereas the sequel is helmed by Nitin Kakkar.
Baisakhi
Vedang Raina and Sharvari are headlining Imtiaz Ali’s modern-day romantic film with Naseeruddin Shah and Diljit Dosanjh. The movie is still in production stage and is scheduled to release on Baisakhi 2026. The official title is yet to be announced.

Naagzilla is releasing on Independence Day 2026. The shooting has commenced under Mrighdeep Singh Lamba’s direction. Kartik plays a shape-shifting snake in the fantasy adventure film.
