Krishnavataram actress Sanskruti Jayana visits leprosy centre, spreads joy
Sharing glimpses from the visit on social media, the actress wrote, “Somewhere between the love, success and chaos of this journey, spending time at a leprosy centre and with mentally challenged children felt the most grounding. Leprosy slowly takes away feeling from the body, yet I met people carrying so much warmth, softness and love in their hearts. Some blessed us with hands marked by pain, but eyes full of kindness.”
She added, “And the children... so innocent, so pure, so unfiltered in the way they laugh, dance, love and express joy. They feel everything so honestly, without fear or performance. We took Krishnavataram and its love to them, danced together, laughed together... and somewhere in between, life felt simpler, quieter and far more meaningful.”
